Evaluation of Entropy-TOPSIS Method for Regional Warehouse Location Selection in the Context of Multi-Level Supply Chain

With the continuous development of Internet technology, the rise of the e-commerce industry, e-commerce has broadened people's sales channels, making people's consumer demand increased. In the context of “central warehouse + regional warehouse” multi-level supply chain, in order to solve the problem of enterprise regional warehouse location, this paper proposes a regional warehouse location model based on entropy weight method and combined with TOPSIS method to meet the consumer demand. The location of the regional warehouse is affected by the distance between the proposed regional warehouse and the central warehouse, the distance between the proposed regional warehouse and other regional warehouses, cargo turnover, highway operation mileage, warehouse construction costs, warehouse operation costs, express parcel transportation rates, etc., which belongs to the multivariate decision-making problem. Therefore, this paper will explore a variety of factors affecting the location of regional warehouses and construct an evaluation system for the location of regional warehouses.Based on the constructed evaluation system, the entropy weight method is used to assign weights to the indicators and retrograde, and then the TOPSIS decision-making method is used to comprehensively evaluate and rank the evaluation objects. The study provides a practical evaluation system for regional warehouse siting in the context of multilevel supply chain and gives reference to regional warehouse siting research.
