Single layer phase and amplitude spatial light modulator using Pancharatnam-Berry phase

In this work, we proposed a Pancharatnam-Berry phase SLM example device that can achieve >1.97 π phase control while simultaneously allowing the intensity to be changed for 30%-90%. The example device also demonstrates >1.34π phase control for intensity values between 20%-30%.

Abstract

In this work, we proposed a Pancharatnam-Berry phase SLM example device that can achieve >1.97 π phase control while simultaneously allowing the intensity to be changed for 30%-90%. The example device also demonstrates >1.34π phase control for intensity values between 20%-30%.
