Digital Twin-Based Monitoring and Networked Tolerant Control for Cyber-Physical Systems
With the continuous development of information technology, most traditional fault-tolerant control (FTC) methods are based on mechanism knowledge and have relatively low data utilization. This study is inspired by digital twin (DT) technology and proposes a mechanism data-driven dual DT collaborative architecture that can achieve real-time fault diagnosis and FTC. In addition, a predictive rolling compensation mechanism is introduced to mitigate the impact of network packet loss. This method simplifies the design process and operates independently of communication constraints. To validate the effectiveness of the proposed method, experimental tests are conducted under hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation platform. The results demonstrate that DT can accurately track the physical system in real time for fault diagnosis and promptly implement corresponding FTC.
