Recorder for the Diagnosis of Diseases Protein Markers
The rapid detection of protein markers of diseases plays a crucial role in laboratory diagnostics, so it is especially important to develop fast and convenient methods for their detection. A biosensor based on a field-effect transistor is promising. The paper presents the results of the design and manufacture of a recorder and software, which allow to capture the signal from twenty biosensors located on a single chip crystal. They are used to measure such parameters as volt-ampere characteristics and sub-gate voltage changes in real time. The performance of the manufactured recorder and software was tested on the example of detection of antibodies against p24 protein of human immunodeficiency virus, which act as protein markers of the disease. Stable decrease of voltage on the sub-gate was shown when antibodies were added at concentrations of 0.015 and 0.15 mg/mL, which corresponds to the interaction of protein p24 with antibodies. The assay time is 400–500 sec. This, in turn, is a proof of the performance of the recorder and software for rapid detection of the protein marker of the disease and provision of medical care to the patient.
