More Efficient Lattice-Based Verifiable Decryption from LWR

We introduce a straightforward and efficient lattice-based verifiable decryption scheme that improves upon the framework by Gjøsteen, Haines, Müller, Rønne, and Silde (ACISP 2022). Our design relies on a passively secure distributed decryption scheme and MPC-in-the-Head techniques, enabling efficient verifiable decryption for (fully) homomorphic encryption schemes.

Abstract

We introduce a straightforward and efficient lattice-based verifiable decryption scheme that improves upon the framework by Gjøsteen, Haines, Müller, Rønne, and Silde (ACISP 2022). Our design relies on a passively secure distributed decryption scheme and MPC-in-the-Head techniques, enabling efficient verifiable decryption for (fully) homomorphic encryption schemes.
