Research and optimization of the influence of grinding parameters on the thickness of the inter-blade spacer in a linter machine
When manufacturing an inter-blade gasket of a type machine, obtaining a thickness with high accuracy is relevant. The purpose of the experimental study is to obtain a thickness with high accuracy, the task of the study is to establish the optimal values of such parameters as the speed of movement of the working table, the transverse feed of the spindle and the value of the vertical movement. As a result of experimental studies, mathematical models were constructed to describe the variation in the thickness of the inter-blade spacer depending on the worktable feed rate, the spindle cross-feed rate, and the vertical displacement. It was found that the minimum thickness (optimal) variation of the inter-blade spacer, 0.013408 mm, is achieved at a worktable feed rate of 4110 mm/min, a spindle cross-feed rate of 5.6 mm/stroke, and a vertical displacement of 0.3 mm.
