EITHOS Policy Recommendations - Social Policy Recommendations
This proposal aims to establish a European funding system to support schools, universities, and non-profit associations involved in digital education, online risk prevention, and assistance to victims of Online and Internet-Related Digital Threats (OIDT). It focuses on three main areas: promoting digital literacy and cybersecurity education, implementing "top-down" and "bottom-up" co-training mechanisms for a more tailored response to victims, and providing psycho-social and legal support for OIDT victims. Additionally, it proposes the creation of a European network of associations and psychologists to enhance collaboration and access to up-to-date information. The system also includes initiatives such as vouchers for financial support for low-income victims and the integration of psycho-social services within police departments.
