Ecological Aesthetic Concepts in Traditional Chinese Music Therapy
This research, from the perspective of ecological aesthetics, analyzes the principle of "harmony between human and nature", the therapeutic goal of "preserve physical vitality and mental coherence", and centers on "regulating the seven emotions through emotional counterbalancing" in traditional Chinese music therapy. It further examines the aesthetic reasoning of "analogical symbolism", the aesthetic imagination embodied in "roaming the mind at the origin of things", and the aesthetic ideal centered on "harmony" within this therapeutic approach. It highlights the connection between this therapy and the ideas of overall unity, harmonious coexistence, and dynamic development in ecological aesthetics. In an era increasingly attentive to ecological crises, this music therapy guides people to achieve a deep aesthetic contemplation, re-examine the ecological world where humans and nature coexist in harmony, and interact harmoniously with the universe, advancing together toward boundless flourishing.
