Latent Profile Identification and Prediction on Disability in Activities of Daily Living, Self-Esteem, and Self-Efficacy among Injured Workers: Focusing on Daily Life Satisfaction and Job Satisfaction
This study aimed to identify latent profile types based on disability in activities of daily living, self-esteem, and self-efficacy among injured workers, and to explore factors associating these profiles and differences in daily life satisfaction and job satisfaction according to latent profile types. To achieve this, the author analyzed data from the 5th wave of the 2nd cohort of the Occupational Injury Insurance Panel Survey, targeting 1,692 individuals who returned to work. The latent profile types of disability in activities of daily living, self-esteem, and self-efficacy among injured workers were confirmed to consist of four latent groups: ‘normal group’, ‘high self-realization group’, ‘disability in activities of daily living group’, and ‘vulnerable group’. Based on these research findings, discussions and implications for resolving the physical and psychological difficulties of injured workers and improving quality of life are presented.
