Modeling of thermal processes occurring in a Trombe wall with a ceramic-based polyethylene film
Trombe walls are an effective way to use passive solar energy. Their advantages and disadvantages are also significant in terms of energy efficiency and environmental sustainability. Scientific research and innovation are important for further improvement and expansion of these systems in the future. A comparison of the results shows that when the radiation coefficient of the ceramic-based polyethylene film is 0.3, the convection intensity is higher than when it is 0.1. The maximum values of the speed can reach 0.45. After a height of 25 cm from the floor surface, air movement is not noticeable. The average temperature of the room air is around 300 K when the radiation coefficient is 0.3, and this value is within the range specified in the "Building Standards and Regulations".
