Kazetarien formazioa aro digitalean / Journalistic information in the digital era
This paper explores the transformation of journalistic training within the digital age. It analyses how information technologies and digitalisation have significantly reshaped mediation processes, content production, and educational models in universities. The author emphasises the necessity of redefining journalism curricula to include not only technical abilities but also fundamental communication competencies. In response to challenges such as precarious working conditions, professional intrusion, and the loss of media’s monopolistic role, a critical and integrative educational model is proposed. The study questions the university’s role in the face of the digital journalism boom and advocates for a more adaptive and transversal training approach. Quality, referentiality, and ethics are underscored as essential values for journalism in the new digital ecosystem.
