Spatial Analysis of Location and Usage of Public Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure in Russian Cities
In this paper, studies the impact of various geospatial factors on the frequency of use of existing electric vehicle charging infrastructure in six Russian cities. The analysis of the current state of the problem of forecasting the demand for charging electric vehicles and determining the optimal locations for the electric charging stations was carried out. The analysis was performed on the basis of data on charging sessions at 273 electric vehicle charging stations, collected from open sources. When performing a statistical analysis, the nominal parameters and the location of charging stations in the city area, the proximity to various objects of urban infrastructure were considered as independent variables, and the average number of charging sessions per day was considered as a dependent variable. Based on the correlation analysis and the Shepley method, the regularities were revealed that determine the location of charging stations within the city and the average frequency of their use. The results obtained can be used in planning the development of electric charging infrastructure.
