CAE Based Electromagnetic Field Exposure Assessment in an Electrified Vehicle

This paper discusses a Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) methodology to estimate the low frequency Electromagnetic Field (EMF) exposure within the vehicle during vehicle operation. The simulation results are validated with EMF exposure measurements at the vehicle level. Results show that CAE method can predict the exposure ratio within 5 % of the measurement.
