Correlation Analysis between Subway Train Operating Speed and Vehicle Ride Stability Based on Track Grid

As the backbone of urban public transport, the operating speed of subways directly influences passenger travel time and ride comfort. This paper proposes dividing subway lines into equal-length track segments, referred to as track grids. Based on the vehicle ride stability data, a vibration response composite index for the track grid is constructed to describe the overall stability of train operations in each segment. A correlation analysis model is established between the subway train operating speed and vehicle ride stability. The effectiveness of the proposed model is validated using real data from the Tianjin Metro. The results indicate that this model can effectively analyze the correlation between changes in train operating speed and vehicle ride stability, providing useful guidance for operators in optimizing vehicle ride stability.
