Magnetic Field Sensing using LRSPR Sensor
In this research article, we suggest the use of long-range surface plasmon resonance (LRSPR) sensing technology to detect the externally present magnetic field. In the proposed SPR structure, a thin layer of magnetic fluid is included to sense the presence of the magnetic field. Magnetic nano-particles in a colloidal solution with a carrier make up this mixture. It functions as a layer of sensing. Using the angular interrogation method at a wavelength of 1557 nm, we also compute the different performance characteristics, such as DA, FWHM, Sensitivity, etc., in this study to assess the efficacy of the suggested LRSPR sensor. The suggested LRSPR sensor has a maximum magnetic sensitivity of 0.05650/Oe. The value of the maximum DA and minimum FWHM achieved for this proposed LRSPR sensor is 1.074 Deg-1 and 0.9330, respectively.
