Distributed State-of-Charge Balance Control with Privacy-Preserving for Multiple Energy Storage Systems
The integration of modern power grids with battery energy storage systems (BESSs) is becoming increasingly common. The present paper sets out a method for the control of the State of Charge (SoC) balance for a number of distributed BESSs within smart grids. It is anticipated that the BESSs will function collaboratively in order to satisfy the total power requirement while also adhering to the constraints imposed by the uniform relative SoC fluctuation rate. Furthermore, it is crucial to protect the sensitive information of the BESSs from being disclosed during the control process. To address this, a privacy-preserving dynamic average consensus (PP-DAC) algorithm based on the dynamic average consensus (DAC) method is suggested for identifying parameters. Distributed control of each BESS is facilitated by the DAC, with information being communicated to neighboring BESSs. This approach differs from traditional signal communication in that it incorporates a privacy-protecting tool. This tool protects agents from the risk of private information being shared while maintaining the ability to track things accurately. Computer testing verify the suggested method’s effectiveness.
