Identification of Various Skin Tumor Forms with a Novel Microstrip Antenna Sensor
The task at hand is constructing an antenna that is capable of satisfying the requirements of the radar and communications systems. The biomedical field now has access to relevant technology that was previously only available in the military and civil domains in order to facilitate the evolution of monitoring systems that allow for the non-intrusive monitoring of a patient's health. A novel microstrip patch antenna sensor operating in the ISM band is designed to detect skin cancer at 2.45 GHz in order to monitor a patient's health without intrusive procedures. It provides an electric field that is confined and of great intensity, and that is able to permeate tissues with adequate spectrum and spatial resolution. The sensor's foundation is the use of computer simulation technology to detect successive frequency shifts and changes in electromagnetic resonance, which are sensitive to the variations in dielectric characteristics between benign and cancerous tissues. Basal cell carcinoma and seborrheic keratosis, two of the most frequent benign and malignant skin disorders that share a strong visual similarity, were chosen to serve as the basis for this study.
