A New Integral Sliding Mode Controller for PMLSM Based on Improved Double Power Reaching Law
In this article, a new integral sliding mode controller (NISMC) is proposed for speed control to enhance the dynamic performance and robustness against load disturbances of permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM). First, an improved double power reaching law (IDPRL) is proposed for the NISMC. With the IDPRL, the sliding mode converges to the sliding mode surface fast with less chattering phenomenon and greater robustness against the load disturbance. Second, an anti-saturation integral sliding mode surface is proposed to solve the overshoot problem of conventional integral sliding mode surface under step reference speed. Third, the stability of NISMC is analysed, and both theoretical analysis and simulation verified the superiority of NISMC method compared to other conventional methods.
