Strategic pattern of scientific reference for the Islamic Republic of Iran Army based on the Statements of the Supreme Commander of the General Forces

Objective: The present study was conducted to design a strategic pattern of scientific reference for the Islamic Republic of Iran Army based on the contrivances, orders, and guidelines of the Supreme Commander of the General Forces. Methods: This research employed a qualitative grounded theory approach. First, the dimensions and components of the scientific reference of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army were identified based on the contrivances, orders, and guidelines of the Supreme Commander of the General Forces of Iran, and then the pattern of the scientific reference of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army was presented. The statistical population of the research was the statements of the Supreme Commander of the General Forces from 1989 to 2022. The content analysis method was used to analyze the data. Findings: After analyzing the theme, 13 overarching dimensions and 36 effective components were identified as constructive themes in establishing the scientific reference of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army. Conclusions: The pattern presented in this research can serve as a roadmap for the army of the Islamic Republic of Iran in achieving scientific excellence
