Joint Digital Signal Processing Scheme for Super-Nyquist WDM System with Kramers-Kronig Receiver
To reduce the hardware cost of the super-Nyquist wavelength division multiplexing optical communication systems, the joint digital signal processing scheme has been adopted with the Kramers-Kronig receiver, which can effectively reduce the required photodetectors with a comparison of the conventional coherent receiver. The simulation results show that the maximum net spectral efficiency can be realized to 8.0352 bit/s/Hz.
