Exploring the Influence of DoD, CI/CD, and Automation on Software Quality

The software development industry faces challenges in rapidly delivering high-quality products amidst evolving business demands. Agile methodologies offer adaptability but present challenges in integrating practices that ensure software quality within iterative cycles. This research aims to identify key success factors and best practices for incorporating the Definition of Done (DoD), Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), and test automation frameworks within agile development. Using a mixed-methods approach with twenty-eight participants, this study aims to guide agile teams in incorporating quality activities into their processes, providing recommendations for optimizing incremental product deliveries in agile development.
