Cyclical Hemoptysis in a Patient With Right Lower Lobe Opacity

Case Presentation: A 33-year-old woman, who had a 6 pack-year smoking history, presented with cyclical hemoptysis for 4 months. Although she was treated for suspected pneumonia due to the opacity in posterior basal segment of the right lower lobe (Fig 1A), her symptom recurred concurrently with menstruation. She had a history of an induced abortion and a spontaneous abortion in her late 20s.
