Position Error Compensation Strategy for PMSM Sensorless Control
Due to nonideal factors such as digital control delays, motor parameter mismatch and loop filters, permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) sensorless drive systems are subject to rotor position estimation error. The position estimation error leads to increased motor losses and reduced motor efficiency. In this paper, an error compensation method based on adaptive minimum current tracking (AMCT) is proposed. This method not only can fully compensate the rotor position estimation error caused by any nonideal factor, but also has strong robustness without sensitive parameters. Finally, adequate simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed novel error compensation method.
