3Ps Philippines Case Study: Enhancing Integrated Watershed Management Through Natural Capital Approaches

The People, Planet, Prosperity (3Ps) pilot project in the Philippines increased government capacity to assess and value the benefits of nature to people, specifically those related to water, as part of their watershed management planning. The project also demonstrated to national and international decision-makers the importance of natural capital approaches for prioritizing investments in ecosystems, and advanced implementation of the country’s mandate to institutionalize natural capital accounting at a national scale.
