D6.8 THIRD ANNUAL REPORT ON DISSEMINATION, EXPLOITATION AND COMMUNICATION ACTIVITIES

This deliverable D6.8 provides a detailed report on the progress towards the implementation of the dissemination, exploitation and communication strategy, designed and defined in the first year of the EcoPlastiC project. General framework for implementation of these activities was previously described in the deliverable D6.1 Dissemination, Exploitation and Communication (DEC) Plan (M6) and was updated in the deliverables D6.3 First annual report on dissemination, exploitation and communication activities (M12) and D6.7 Second annual report on dissemination, exploitation and communication activities (M24). The report D6.8 gives overview of the key dissemination and communication activities during the third year of the EcoPlastiC project (1 October 2024 – 30 September 2025) and focuses on the main key performance indicators defined in the DEC plan. It summaries the main activities of all partners, including presence at industry events, conferences and symposia, project advertisement in the media, published results from the project, visits to higher education institutions and schools and project promotion to the public, as well as a successful EcoPlastiC newsletter campaigns. Each activity has been put against initial targets and indicators in the Table 13 in Chapter 4 to measure success of the actions taken during the final year of the project. Our exploitation progress has been updated by all EcoPlastiC partners and is presented in the Annex I (Tables 15-18). Commercialisation Feasibility (CFF) study was done by TUS, engaging with 21 companies as given in Annex II. The aim was to gather industry perspectives on the potential of CicloPak and CicloSeal in replacing conventional plastic-based materials with bio-based, compostable and recyclable alternatives, focusing on key performance requirements. Many expressed willingness to support testing, provide samples, share technical data, and in some cases offer letters of support for funding, underlining both strong market interest and the need for further validation. In addition, EIC INNOVATION RADAR at the end of project is presented in the Annex III. In the third year (Y3) of the EcoPlastiC project, which surpassed the successes of the Y1 and Y2, we significantly advanced our efforts to engage stakeholders and expand the project’s reach to a broader audience. Building on the foundation established in the previous years, we not only strengthened awareness of the project’s objectives and activities, but also enhanced the visibility for our project team and partners. Numerous DEC activities were performed jointly and in synergies with other EC supported projects. As a result, all activities and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) outlined in the original DEC Plan have been successfully met.
