Hyper-Chaotic Iterated Encryption System (HCIES) for Secure Mechanical Key Distribution

**Abstract:** This paper proposes a novel hardware-based encryption system, the Hyper-Chaotic Iterated Encryption System (HCIES), leveraging chaotic dynamics and mechanical iterations for enhanced security in key distribution and data encryption. Unlike purely digital systems, reliance on physical properties of rotating mechanical components—namely, a coupled, multi-axis gyroscope—introduces a layer of unpredictable variation impossible to precisely model in software. HCIES demonstrates superior resistance to eavesdropping and brute-force attacks while maintaining a compact and energy-efficient physical implementation. This system aims to provide highly secure key exchange and data encryption for applications requiring robust physical security, such as sensitive industrial control systems and classified governmental communications.
