Abstract

What this deposit isThis record contains the paper and fully reproducible artifacts for a measurement-first, model-agnostic reanalysis of the ultra-compact source “The Cliff.” We use Recursive Collapse Field Theory (RCFT) within the Unified Mathematics & Collapse Platform (UMCP) to turn eight observables into survey-quantile channel ranks and then summarize cross-window agreement with edge-weighted invariants in the fixed order (F, C, S, κ, τ_R): F (fidelity): edge-weighted mean rank C (curvature): normalized cross-window scatter S (entropy): mean binary entropy of the ranks (bits) κ (integrity): log-geometric support τ_R (re-entry margin): (F − 0.90)/σ_c, clipped at 0, reported in σ units The Balmer-edge window is pre-registered as a double-weighted hinge. All decisions are made on ranks and fixed gates (Stable/Twin), not on template fits. Why this matters Template SED fits can mimic single bands but often need window-specific tweaks that don’t cohere. RCFT/UMCP instead asks: do the measured windows re-enter a single generator? By working with ranks and edge-weighted invariants, we deliver a portable, auditable verdict on cross-window coherence that transfers across instruments (only the survey CDFs need updating).
