CONFIDENTIAL6G Poster: Confidential Computing and Privacy-Preserving Technologies for 6G

This poster presents the vision and objectives of the CONFIDENTIAL6G project (Grant Agreement No. 101096435), which develops confidential computing and privacy-preserving technologies for 6G. The project is built on three research pillars: post-quantum cryptography, confidential computing, and confidential communication, addressing data protection in use, in transit, and at the edge. The poster highlights strategic values central to the project: Enhanced Data Privacy during processing, transmission, and storage. Compliance & Sovereignty, ensuring alignment with EU Data Spaces and Gaia-X. Resilience to Insider Threats through confidential containers and blockchain auditing. Scalability Across Domains to support distributed AI and privacy-preserving services. Post-Quantum Readiness, integrating primitives resilient against quantum computing threats. Use cases include: Predictive maintenance for airlines through blockchain-based data sharing and federated AI/ML orchestration. Privacy-preserving confidential computing for telecom cloud providers. Intelligent connected vehicles, including mission-critical services, OTA updates, and secure V2X communications. By combining cryptography, confidential computing, and networking innovations, CONFIDENTIAL6G strengthens Europe’s ability to deliver secure, trustworthy, and quantum-resistant 6G infrastructures
