First records of Neptis sappho (Pallas, 1771) in Albania.
Neptis sappho (Pallas, 1771), has a wide but fragmented range from Japan to Eastern Europe. Although previously undocumented in the literature, N. sappho was recently confirmed in Albania, occurring in habitats dominated by the invasive Robinia pseudoacacia. These records lie at the southern edge of its European range. Suitable habitats extend beyond the recorded sites, suggesting that N. sappho is likely more widespread in Albania than currently documented.
