ABORDAGEM INTEGRADA DE CIRURGIA PERIODONTAL, TRATAMENTO ENDODÔNTICO E RESTAURAÇÃO BIOMIMÉTICA DE UM PRÉ-MOLAR SUPERIOR

The biomimetic approach for endodontically treated teeth is an innovative and minimally invasive option that prioritizes the preservation of tooth structure. These materials aim to mimic previously lost tooth structure, allowing for large, highly durable reconstructions and a reduced prognosis requiring future interventions. This study aimed to report the rehabilitation process of a tooth requiring procedures involving periodontics, endodontics, and dentistry, evaluating the efficacy and clinical feasibility of the combined treatment of clinical crown lengthening, transsurgical restoration, endodontic treatment, and restoration with biomimetic material in a patient with significant tooth loss. The proposed methodology consists of a clinical case report at the Dental Clinic of the São Lucas University Center, in which a female patient complained of a large cavity resulting from the loss of the restoration of element 24 after coronal opening. It was proposed that treatment using biomimetic material for definitive tooth restoration would restore the tooth’s proper structure and function. Thus, it was concluded that the clinical case had a favorable prognosis, with no pain and full functionality, in addition to restoring the tooth’s aesthetics, reinforcing the importance of the biomimetic approach and integrated planning in cases of similar complexity.
