Dire et penser « l’après » : regards sur le théâtre japonais de Fukushima
This paper focuses on representations of the Fukushima disaster in Japanese theatre from 2010 to 2020. It analyses how these representations are shaped by history, political context, and specific cultural factors, and to what extent theatre has a particular political and social impact – for instance, by denouncing, processing loss and mourning, constructing a collective memory, and creating a narrative that differs from the official version.
