A Predefined-Time Distributed Optimization Method for Low-Carbon Economic Dispatch of Integrated Energy System
Integrated energy systems (IESs) encompass multiple heterogeneous energy flows with significant variations in the scheduling time scales of different energy types. To address practical requirements, it is essential to set distinct response times for optimization dispatch. This article explores predefined-time distributed optimization for low-carbon economic dispatch in IESs. Initially, a thermoelectric coupled IESs structure is proposed, encompassing “source-load-storage-station” components, and a low-carbon economic optimization dispatch model is developed. Then, a predefined-time distributed optimization algorithm based on time-based generator technology is designed to solve above model, with its convergence rigorously demonstrated. This algorithm is independent of the system’s initial values and parameters, allowing flexible predefined-time convergence while ensuring robust privacy and convergence properties. Finally, simulations on an improved IEEE 30-bus power and 14-bus thermal IES, along with comparative performance analyses, confirm the effectiveness and advancement of the proposed method.
