IICM_Cosmological_Constant
This technical note addresses the cosmological constant problem from the perspective of the Information-Induced Collapse Model (IICM). Instead of introducing an explicit Λ-term, the model derives an effective dark-energy–like behavior from informational congestion, which naturally produces accelerated expansion. In the simplest case (ε = 0), the expansion history is identical to ΛCDM but with Λ_IICM = 0. Small deviations (ε ≠ 0) lead to weakly evolving dark energy, providing falsifiable predictions testable through SN Ia, BAO, CMB, ISW, and structure growth observations. The approach eliminates the need for fine-tuning and replaces the cosmological constant with the intrinsic dynamics of information, grounded in the 4.53-bit initial distinction.
