Verso la foce is a literary narrative configured as a space of memory of the environmental disasters that have overwhelmed the Padana plain. The aim is to see how the literary work reappropriates social representations relating to the flooding of the Po, and to analyse how the author, Gianni Celati, transforms the mythical image of the natural disaster by placing it within a post-industrial context.
