Validated Multiplex Serological Assays

BCOMING is a multidisciplinary project with partners and teams collecting samples from all terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, from humans and animals, in Cambodia, Ivory Coast, Guinea and Guadeloupe. It is therefore very important to standardize sampling collection and subsequent laboratory analysis. This deliverable concerns the serological analysis of filoviruses and coronaviruses to test for the presence of antibodies in humans and wildlife.In this deliverable, the final versions of the SOPs are attached. The assays for ebolavirus have been updated and now include Marburg virus, another zoonotic filovirus with potential cross-reactivity with ebolaviruses. Additionally, an assay has been developed to test antibodies against Lassavirus and is included in this deliverable.
