OSCARS in context: an introduction to Open Science, FAIR principles, EOSC and the SRIA

This article serves as an introduction to the series focused on the thematic areas addressed by the OSCARS project - https://oscars-project.eu/, the Science Clusters, and the OSCARS-funded projects: Repositories; Data Annotation; Software, AI and tools; and Promotion of Open Science. It provides context to OSCARS by outlining the concepts of Open Science and FAIR principles, as well as introducing the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) and the EOSC Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA).
