Hierarchical Finite Field Theory: Foundations and Categorical Structure of Multi-Level Discrete Algebraic Systems

We introduce and develop the foundational theory of Hierarchical Finite Fields (HFF), a novel mathematical framework that studies structured collections of finite fields organized through discrete combinatorial hierarchies. We establish rigorous categorical foundations, prove fundamental structural theorems, and demonstrate that HFF structures exhibit emergent algebraic properties unattainable in classical finite field theory. Our main results include: (1) the Classification Theorem for hierarchical field decompositions, (2) the Universal Property of hierarchical operations, and (3) explicit construction algorithms with polynomial-time complexity bounds. Classification: Mathematics Subject Classification 2020: 11T71, 05A05, 12E20, 18B40
