Resonant Reinterpretation of the Pyrgi Tablets: A Comparative Decoding of Etruscan Ritual Language through the Alphabetcode A-T Revealing the Hidden Geometry and Archetypal Patterns of a Forgotten Initiatory Script

Abstract This paper presents a resonant re-reading of the Pyrgi Tablets, a bilingual Etruscan–Phoenician inscription from ca. 500 BCE. While traditionally interpreted as parallel dedications to the goddess Astarte, a word-by-word analysis of the Etruscan tablet reveals a condensed sequence of syllabic formulas that function less as declarative text and more as vibrational chants. Building on the Alphabetcode A–T, a newly developed symbolic framework, the study interprets each word as a frequency-key, aligning with ancient resonance cultures such as Vedic mantras, Egyptian hekau, and Orphic hymns. The Phoenician tablet, by contrast, omits or redirects most of these resonant terms, reframing them into political-theological statements of kingship, temple-building, and chronological dating. The paper argues that this shift exemplifies a cultural strategy: the replacement of resonance culture with authority culture. By recovering the vibrational dimension of language, the work proposes a new field of inquiry, Resonant Philology, which bridges philology, symbolic anthropology, and sound studies.
