The Expansion of Banking Correspondent Networks in Brazil: A Case Study on the Implementation of Advanced Service Points at Bradesco

This article presents a systematic literature review on the expansion of banking correspondent networks in Brazil, with a particular focus on the case study of Bradesco Expresso. The research addresses the crucial role of these advanced service points in democratizing access to financial services and promoting financial inclusion in remote regions. It analyzes the logistical, operational, and team management challenges inherent in large-scale projects, such as the implementation of over 60,000 new service points. The study quantifies the impact of Bradesco Expresso's expansion on the bank's capillarity and financial inclusion, offering a model for future projects in the sector. The methodology included searching scientific databases and analyzing regulatory documents. The results highlight the importance of strategic partnerships, investment in technology, continuous training, and rigorous risk management for the success and sustainability of these networks.
