The effectiveness of herbicides in winter wheat crops in the Non-Chernozem zone

Winter wheat is the most important agricultural crop in Russia, forming the basis of domestic bakery and flour production. Successful cultivation of winter wheat varieties provides the country with a sufficient amount of high-quality grain, reduces dependence on imports and strengthens food independence. The purpose of these studies was to study the effect of the use of modern herbicides on the yield and quality characteristics of winter wheat in the Non-Chernozem zone of Russia. The conducted studies have shown the high effectiveness of the herbicides used against weeds in winter wheat crops. The herbicide Chance DKB, BP, used at a consumption rate of 0.3 liters/ha, ensured the destruction of about 99% of juvenile and 93% of perennial root weeds, while the drug Ballerina, SE at a dosage of 0.5 g/ha destroyed about 94-90% of both types of weeds. The treatment of crops with herbicides had a positive effect on yields: an increase of 12 c / ha when using the drug Chance DKB, BP and 11.5 c / ha when treated with the drug Ballerina. In addition, herbicide treatment increased gluten content by 4%, DKB, BP and 3.7%, Ballerina, SE, protein content increased by 2.7 and 2.5%, respectively. The data obtained confirm the prospects of using these herbicides to improve the phytosanitary condition of crops and increase the quality of winter wheat harvest.
