The Quantum Spectral Processor: A Novel Computational Paradigm
Abstract We present the foundational theoretical framework for the Quantum Spectral Processor (QSP), anovel computational paradigm first conceived in 1999 that achieves quantum computationaladvantages through continuous functional representation. The framework introduces three coretheoretical concepts: continuous functional datastructures, decoherence-immune quantum staterepresentation, and portable quantum entanglement transmission. Theoretical analysisdemonstrates potential for constant-time computational operations with perfect mathematicalprecision across multiple scientific domains. This work establishes the scientific foundation andhistorical priority for functional computing paradigms while preserving implementationmethodologies for continued research and development. Keywords: computational paradigms, functional computing, quantum computing theory, spectralmethods, theoretical computer science
