Cosmology and Dark Energy/ Matter in Resonance Theory
This paper reinterprets the cosmological puzzles of dark energy and dark matter within the framework of R-theory. Instead of treating them as unrelated phenomena requiring exotic particles or arbitrary constants, both are described as emergent expressions of resonance in the coherent zero field. Dark energy corresponds to the baseline oscillation—the ground frequency—of the zero field, manifesting as cosmic acceleration. Dark matter arises as hidden resonance domains: coherent field knots that gravitationally phase-lock with visible matter while remaining electromagnetically silent. This unified ontology resolves the cosmological constant problem, offers a natural explanation for galactic scaffolding, and positions the zero field as the foundation of cosmic structure and expansion. The work highlights predictions for laboratory and astrophysical tests, linking resonance-based cosmology to measurable signatures.
