SLOPE STABILITY ANALYSIS USING GEOGRID

In the most recent years utilization of geosynthetic material in the field of civil engineeringpractices is adopted such as in the construction of road embankment, Slope stability, Transportation,railways etc.This paper based on study of slope stability analysis with reinforcement of geosyntheticmaterial (Geogrid) to analyze the outcome of geogrid as a slope reinforcement in the slope of the roadpavement of homogeneous Lateritic Soil. Several Laboratory test where conducted to know Basic andEngineering Properties of soil. This Laboratory tests gives required values for analysis of slope. TheTensile Strength of geogrid taken as MD (Machine Direction) Value. Also the Different Spacing ofGeogrid is used to encounter effect of changing the Spacing on Slope Stability. To Evaluate Benefitsof inclusion of geogrid in slope the slope stability analysis conducted by making models of slope withGeogrid and slope stability analysis without Geogrid Using the Slide Software.
