Pressure Transient Behavior of a Sand Producing Fractured Well in a Channel Reservoir
In the normal production process of fractured wells in channel reservoirs, fine sand in the near-wellbore area is discharged relying on the sand carrying capacity of crude oil, which easily leads to changes in fracture conductivity. Therefore, this article presents a sand producing fractured well analytical well test model in the channel reservoir to describe the pressure transient behavior for this system type. It takes into account the composite properties of the channel reservoir and the fracture variable conductivity. The bottom-hole pressure response is calculated by Laplace transform and Fourier transform. The analytical method adopted improves the stability and computational efficiency of the algorithm. The accuracy of the theoretical model is verified by comparison with the numerical simulation results of commercial software. The flow stages of typical well test curves are divided, and the influence of relevant sensitivity factors on the curve is discussed. The reservoir parameters in the near-wellbore area are obtained by practical application. It provides a reasonable solution for reservoir evaluation of a sand producing fractured well in a channel reservoir.
