An urichol can convey multiple meanings, and multiple urichols can express a single meaning. It is used to make unfamiliar concepts understandable through familiar words. These words are primarily considered to belong to poetry. In the work Thinaimalai Nurraimbathu, the urichol "val" appears in five poems, indicating the quality of brightness. The poems in Thinaimalai Nurraimbathu serve as an excellent example of how urichols are used to create poetic beauty. It is also evident from these poems that urichols are mostly structured as modifiers.
