Habitat contractions to drive future planktonic foraminifera distribution and diversity change

Description This repository contains MATLAB code and data supporting the manuscript currently in review titled "Habitat contractions to drive future planktonic foraminifera population and diversity loss". The scripts and datasets included allow reproduction of abundance and diversity maps under various climate change scenarios (SSPs). This work includes the usage of two ecological niche models models (ESM and GRNN) to study the abundance distribution of 6 planktonic foraminifera species and biodiversity projections across past and future scenarios.
