ANALISIS PEMILIHAN MODA TRANSPORTASI KONVENSIONAL DENGAN TRANSPORTASI ONLINE

The development of online transportation is starting to erode the existence of public transportation because online transportation accommodates passengers' personal, private and exclusive needs. Public transportation is actually more reliable because it can accommodate the needs of passengers in general and mass. With the nature of being accommodated generally and en masse, this allows passengers to interact and socialize with each other. Passenger characteristics greatly influence the choice of transportation mode. This research aims to determine the characteristics and factors that influence travelers in choosing online transportation modes and conventional transportation. This research aims to identify travelers and the factors that influence the choice of mode between online transportation and conventional transportation at the Yogya Mitrabatik Shopping Center, Tasikmalaya City. The research method is descriptive quantitative with a sample of 100 respondents, the data collection method is using a questionnaire, data processing uses multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 29 software. The results of distributing questionnaires to visitors to the Yogya Mitrabatik Shopping Center showed that most users, 55%, chose online transportation and 45% chose conventional transportation. Based on the correlation test, the influencing factors are driver competency, ease of getting the vehicle, tariff/cost, and quick access to the vehicle
