Design of a business model for the commercialization of affordable electric vehicles in Tabasco as a sustainable mobility strategy

This article presents the design of a business model aimed-at the commercialization of affordable electric vehicles in the state of Tabasco, as a strategy to promote sustainable mobility. Based on the analysis of successful models implemented in countries such as Norway, China, and Colombia, key factors are identified, including tax incentives, charging infrastructure, and consumer perception. Through a situational diagnosis of the Tabasco context, mechanisms adapted to local economic and cultural conditions are proposed, considering public-private partnerships, accessible financing schemes, and environmental education campaigns. The model seeks to address barriers such as high initial costs and limited infrastructure, while promoting environmental, economic, and social benefits. The article concludes that the gradual implementation of this proposal could contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals [SDGs 11 and 13] through a transition to cleaner and more inclusive mobility.
