Strengthening the learning of English through multiple intelligences with the use of mobile applications

The article Strengthening English learning through multiple intelligences with the use of mobile applications explores the implementation of mobile applications in higher education in Mexico, focusing on their impact on English learning among International Business students at the Universidad Autónoma de Nayarit. The main objective of the research was to analyze the perceptions of 93 university students, aged between 18 and 21, on the effectiveness of these tools. In this context, a Google Forms form was applied that included seven key items. Students were asked about the importance of English proficiency for their professional success, the usefulness of mobile applications to facilitate preparation in business situations, and their contribution to improving specialized English vocabulary. In addition, they were asked about the ability of these applications to practice oral and written communication in business contexts, as well as their effectiveness in preparing for international negotiations. We also evaluated how these tools complement classroom learning and students' willingness to recommend their use to peers. The results reflect a positive perception towards the use of mobile applications, suggesting that they can be a valuable resource to strengthen English language learning in this professional field.
