Assessing the Impact of Satellite Internet on Learning Outcomes in Remote Areas
Limited internet access in remote areas remains a major challenge for education. While efforts to equalize conditions between urban and rural schools are important, the primary focus should be on closing the technology and information gap. This paper evaluates the potential of satellite internet to enhance student learning outcomes in remote regions. Based on case studies and recent data, satellite internet can broaden access to digital learning resources, increase student engagement, and provide exposure to global technology. However, challenges such as cost and infrastructure capacity must be addressed to maximize benefits.
